About the speaker:
Mike Carr is an organic farmer at Jemseg River Farm. The farm’s mission statement includes a strong educational component and they see themselves as an incubator for future farmers. An experienced university educator (specifically in leadership studies program) Mike offers training in areas such as soils, crop planning, weed control, pest management, composting, harvesting practices, marketing, and sales.
